Last weekend, I had the privilege of being invited to Bangalore for the Mako User Conference – a gathering of robotic surgeons from across the country who share a common passion for innovation in orthopaedics.

It was an excellent opportunity to connect with colleagues, exchange insights and learn from the varied experiences of surgeons who are using robotic technology to redefine patient outcomes.

I also had the honour of showcasing the way I approach surgeries – from hips to partial knees and total knees – using the Mako robotic system. Sharing techniques and protocols in such a forum is always invaluable, because it not only allows me to contribute but also to gain perspectives that help refine and elevate my own practice.

Events like these remind us that technology is only as powerful as the collaboration behind it. Together, as a community, we continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in joint replacement surgery.
